The Amarillo Ice Ranch
About the Ice Ranch:
The Amarillo Ice Ranch opened to the public in May 2021 and will remain open year-round. There is also ice just one street over at the Amarillo Civic Center, but it is open for a limited period of time during the year. The new rink opened around the same time the city announced that the new North American Hockey League (NAHL) team, called the Amarillo Wranglers, will play this upcoming season. The owners of the Ice Ranch said it is important to them to maintain the skating community in Amarillo and provide a space for ice sports to grow.
